Public libraries hold some great programs for children of all ages. See what your library has to offer.

WAKE COUNTY

There are six regional libraries and 12 community branch libraries in Wake County's library system. Find a library in your area, and see what hours they are open. Most libraries have storytimes for kids, from pre-walkers to preschoolers, as well as family events.

ORANGE COUNTY

The Orange County Public Library is located in Hillsborough and is headquarters for the six branch regional system. The region includes Orange, Caswell and Person counties.

The Chapel Hill Public Library is a municipal library located in Chapel Hill. A variety of programs for kids and teens are offered at the library. Booklists for kids and teens are also available through the library website.

DURHAM COUNTY

There are 8 libraries in the Durham County library system. Find a library in your area, as well as the hours they are open.

Check out the programs that your library is offering, including story times, music and crafts - throughout the year.

The Durham library system has some interesting programs and events for teens - from writing seminars to game nights.
