A national group with a local chapter started by a local mom. It offers support, social events and information to moms who are raising boys.

A local group that started in Johnston County, but also has chapters in North Raleigh and Knightdale.

Nursing Mothers of Raleigh
A local group of experienced moms encouraging breastfeeding through education and support.

Composed of families in the Five Points and Fallon Park areas in central Raleigh.

Offers support, advice and events for parents who practice attachment parenting.

Mocha Moms
A national group dedicated to serving stay-at-home women of color with two local chapters.

International MOMS Clubs
An international group formed in 1983 by an at-home mom looking to meet other moms and kids. Now it's a massive organization. Membership is based on your address.

Mothers of Preschoolers International
MOPS groups, typically based in churches, offer childcare for kids from infants to age 6 so moms can get together to learn, share and get to know each other. There are more than 40 groups in the Triangle. Most meet twice a month on weekday mornings, though a few meet in the evenings
