Outdoor ice skating comes to Raleigh this Saturday, November 14 when Raleigh on Ice, Raleigh’s newest holiday tradition, presented by Warté Designs, opens the first of three outdoor ice skating rink locations.  Brier Creek Commons will also offer free sleigh rides and will host Santa’s arrival during their annual tree lighting celebration.

A portion of Raleigh on Ice proceeds will benefit Raleigh Rescue Mission to help homeless children and families in need.  During opening day at Brier Creek Commons, the Carolina Hurricanes will host events from 10am until 1pm to include a visit from Stormy the Hurricanes mascot, a community hockey clinic, appearances by the Storm Squad, the Carolina Hurricanes slapshot booth, and promotional item giveaways.
