Hike along the Halloween Trail, a North Raleigh tradition, to meet costumed characters performing family-friendly nature based skits. At trail's end, huddle around the campfire for more entertainment, including arts, crafts and games.

New This Year: The event will be by preregistration only. You choose from three arrival times on either Oct. 24 or Oct. 25. Registration ends Oct. 21 for Friday, Oct. 24, and Oct. 22 for Saturday, Oct. 25.

Choose from these three sessions: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
