Duke Children's Hospital Benefit Horse Show - Raleigh

Hunter Jumper Horse Show with free admission (except for Saturday night's Grand Prix. Gates open at 6 p.m. Show starts at 8 p.m.).
The 24th annual Duke Children's Benefit Horse Show is the largest hunter-jumper show in the Southeast featuring nearly a week of competition from the United States and Canada. The show also offers a behind-the-scenes look at how horses are cared for, trained and shown. Events run until the evening each night except for Sunday when things will wrap up by 5 p.m.
Special events include:
Friday night's "stick horse race" at 6:45 p.m. Bring your own stick horse (I know them as hobby horses).
Saturday' Grand Prix includes a visit from Ronald McDonald and a trick mule. It runs from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $10. Ages 10 and under are free.
