Farmer's Market

When you visit the Wake Forest Farmer's Market you will enter an exciting new world. The farmers that grow your food, the people who bake your bread, the craftpeople who make your pottery and soaps, the ones who make your jams and even the very bees that make your honey, and the farmers that raise your pasture/grass fed meat and eggs will greet you with a smile and all you need to know about what you may wish to purchase.

Every Saturday morning...8 til Noon. Downtown Wake Forest. In the "gazebo" parking lot.

I have been to the Wake Forest Farmers Market many, many  times and it is the most fun I have all week. I kept trying to get the kids to go but they never wanted to. Then one day we had to go to a reception and needed some greens and tomatoes in a hurry. I jumped out of the car to pick up these items and when I came back to the car the kids were gone. I found one of them staring at the man playing the hammer dulcimer and the other asking someone how they could grow some flowers.

We were late for the reception!
