Keep smiling through the tears
During our time together, I try to take Corey to as many different and educational places as I can to escape the horrendous situation that, currently, we find ourselves imprisoned in. Corey and I are the victims of domestic violence and the most horrific judicial and beauracratic criminal misconduct that I beleive there could possibly be, and all because I didn't have the money that it took to hire a decent attorney to protect our civil rights and ensure us to equal protection of the law.
At this point in time, my son, Corey, was taken from me initially such that I knew nothing of the change in custody until custody had changed hands in my absence, and even beyond that, despite evidence and medical records pertaining to domestic violence and drug use by my ex, he continued to receive full sole custody of Corey at 3 1/2 years old. To this day, and to the oblivian of all those presumed to protect us, my son and I continue to be victims of this horrendous situation and domestic violence while even those in top positions admit that we "Have not received equal protection of the law."
Still, we do our best to stay positive, and our trips here, there, and everywhere give us temporary good times and smiles in amongst a mass of horror, tears, fear, and disbelief at what has been done to us and how these beauracratic and legal criminals have got away with such heinous crimes against us and still have not been held accountable for their deviant, criminal, and unethical actions which are in overt and gross violation of the law. Somehow, by out trips here, there, and everywhere, Corey and I keep managing to smile through our tears.
