Historic Yates Mill County Park will host its fourth annual From Field to Food: A Harvest Celebration on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fifth N.C. Literary Festival will be held this weekend at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. And for the first time, it will include a large area dedicated to young readers ages 12 and under.
Budget cuts have taken a bit of the bite out of area Halloween celebrations. But we've still got more than 60 Halloween events on the TriangleMom2Mom calendar from the BOO at the N.C. Zoo to Natural History Halloween at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences to a host of other big and small celebrations across the Triangle.
